Default Commitment to the Local Church

Joshua Harris' popular book, Stop Dating the Church, encourages churchgoers to choose one church to be faithful to attend, eager to serve, and enthusiastic to promote. He calls for a general re-dedication to local church ministry, for a new passion to forward the Gospel through the local church.

As ministry leaders, what does this look like in your lives? What ways do you strive to model commitment to your church?

Secondarily, how do you encourage your members in their commitment, and how do you approach those who are not committed?

What is your reasoning?
